Judith Kang joined CWL’s LA office in 2023.  Prior to joining as an attorney, Ms. Kang worked with CWL as a summer law clerk in 2022.

Ms. Kang graduated from Tulane University Law School with the Maritime Law Certificate.  While a student, Ms. Kang was active on campus, serving as Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal; student attorney for the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic; President of the Environmental and Energy Law Society; Vice President of the Maritime Law Society; Secretary of the Asian-Pacific-American Law Students Association; and Chair of the Graduating Class Committee.  Ms. Kang was also a mentor in Dean Rufus Harris Peer Fellow Program where she mentored underclassmen on how to successfully navigate law school and a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program where she assisted individuals in need with filing their income tax returns.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kang worked as a political consultant on the Central Coast, primarily focusing on local energy and land use issues.  She advised on grassroots and grasstops organization and campaigning.  In 2021, Ms. Kang was included on the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs’ 40 Under 40 List of Asian Pacific Americans in Politics & Public Affairs.
