CWL’s Honolulu office is currently seeking a mid-level litigation associate/of-counsel attorney with 3+ years of progressive experience. We emphasize both independence and collaboration with our lawyers. We reward proactive self-starters who demonstrate a commitment to and interest in their future with the firm. Our associate/of-counsel attorneys work closely with our clients, frequently appear in court, take depositions, try cases, and manage their own cases with supervision and mentorship from more senior lawyers. Our work frequently takes us out of the office to do interesting things in interesting places.

We want to hire a lawyer who is:

• A litigator (insurance defense experience is especially helpful);
• Hawaii licensed;
• Located in Honolulu;
• Organized and attentive to detail;
• A strong researcher and writer;
• Comfortable managing discovery, motion practice, and case progression;
• Intellectually curious and open to learning new skills and subject matter;
• Capable of prioritizing competing deadlines; and
• Able to work well equally as a team member and independently.
