Mr. Morkos joined CWL’s Los Angeles office from 2017 to 2019, and, after a three-year hiatus as an in-house counsel, returned to CWL in 2023. He represents a variety of clients in maritime and general liability matters, as well as contract drafting and business litigation.

Mr. Morkos received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, and his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. He began his legal career as a legal specialist for Nike in Beaverton, Oregon, working closely with the intellectual property teams to negotiate and draft third-party vendor agreements and manage their global intellectual property assets. After moving back to Los Angeles, Mr. Morkos started his career as a litigator, advising clients on matters related to healthcare, maritime law, and general business litigation. He also worked as in-house counsel in the technology sector for a SaaS solution and for a multinational manufacturing company. With five years of transactional experience and five years of litigation experience, Mr. Morkos brings a unique blend of legal skills and experiences to his practice, which he leverages for the benefit of his clients.
